I've ridden the ion for 10 years and it in no way disappoints.Out of box fit is unbelievable, hiking in this boot is awesome since it really is so lightweight, and the traction on the sole never fails me. It suits completely with my Burton Cartel bindings and the est sole helps me get the most board really feel out of any boot I have ever before ridden. I advocate this boot to any person for any sort of riding.

This boot fricking rocks. It was a little stiff on my boney ankles at 1st, but the liner has (following 3 days of riding) broke in and formed to my foot.I really feel like i can chase down yeti in the trees and retain stamina the hole time.

I had an older model of the ion that I rode for 4 seasons. When it arrived time to purchase new boots I did not even appear close to. I have to acknowledge ey are pricy but really worth the cost. Comfy correct out of the box. I know I will get at minimum three seasons out of these negative boys so no biggie on the price tag tag.
